Medical Medium Cleanse: Celery Juice and Raw Food Day 21

As discussed in my original post, I'm documenting the effects of drinking 16 oz celery juice every morning (and transitioning back to raw fruits and veggies). Today is Day 21.

 Day 1     Day 2     Day 3     Day 4     Day 5     Day 6     Day 8     Day 9     Day 10     Day 11     Day 12     Day 13     Day 14     Day 15     Day 16     Day 17     Day 18     Day 19     Day 20

Food:
16 oz celery juice
lemon water all day
Smoothie: banana, frozen mango, grapes, frozen wild blueberries, kale, ice, supplements, water
Lunch salad: lettuce, tomato, red pepper, sugar snap peas, cucumber, sprouts, apple, asparagus, chives, dressing (avocado, salt, garlic powder, onion powder)
Snacks: honeydew melon, nectarine
I broke. For dinner I had the avocado dressing, used it as a dip for sugar snap peas, carrots and Luke's chips. I'm not proud.

Still doing my nightly "talks" with the angels, still a little weirded out by it, but am getting more used to it. Meditating as I fall asleep, which IDK if it's the best time or not, but I love it. Also meditating every time I go outside and just look at the sky, or the trees.

I'm feeling so much more positive, despite massive amounts of stress being heaped upon our lives right now. It's going to be worked out, right? The angels say yes.

Stress makes me want to eat cooked foods. Comforting foods. Not salads and fruit. I'm having all manner of stress today from what we'll just call "the landscaping debacle" and cortisol/adrenaline is shooting through my body, and my husband making cooked food for him and my son is making me want some. I'm not sure how to handle this, because I've already been giving into this cooked craving for a few days in a row (this stress is continuing) and I don't want to keep doing it. I need to eat dinner but the last thing I want to do right now is prepare a salad - the adrenaline/cortisol is also making me crash.....

  1. I am just getting caught up on your latest posts and I am supremely impressed with your ability to keep with limiting your processed foods and eating so many whole fruits and veggies. I'm so happy for you that you are feeling more energy and resilience and hope.

    1. The processed foods part is easy, as I didn't really eat many of those before. A few had snuck in, but letting them go wasn't really an issue. The eating raw...I'm working on that. I have been mostly being raw til 4 since I did the cleanse, with a cooked veggie meal for dinner. But I'm going to do the cleanse again soon.
