Detox?! Flare?! What Do I Do? (on Medical Medium protocols)

There are times in our healing journey where we REALLY understand why Anthony William always says "three steps forward, two steps back". Healing is not linear, it has twists and turns, and you can be going along beautifully and then all of a sudden, BAM! You're hit with a flare of your symptoms.

You might be afraid when that happens, thinking your illness is returning, that you're not really healing. But that's just not true. If you are giving your body the tools it needs to heal be feeding it the healing foods and supplements, and you're NOT feeding it the foods that keep it sick, then you ARE healing. It's so important to know that. Your body is working for you ALL the time, it ALWAYS has. When you've been your sickest, it's never been your body's fault - it works tirelessly for us no matter what. It always tries to maintain homeostasis and keep us healthy. But without the right tools to do that, it can only do so much.

Once it DOES have the right tools, it's going to take time to get all that bad junk out - all those old viruses, the old toxins, everything that has built up over time to make you sick. It needs to be hydrated, it needs plenty of rest, it needs plenty of  foods to feed the adrenals and cleanse the liver. It needs supplements and healing teas. And it needs time.

It really does take time to heal, it's crucial to recognize that. We didn't get this chronically ill overnight, it's not going to be an overnight process for the body to clean out all of this toxic debris, either. But it IS going to clean it out. And we cannot always see the work that is being done behind the scenes. So we have to trust, we have to have faith in our bodies and in the process. And we have to keep a light heart.

Meanwhile, there ARE ways to support our bodies in their healing process, and I've talked about those in the video, and about my own healing process.
