Am I sleeping better? It's hard to tell, but...I think I'm sleeping better. I feel more refreshed when I wake up. Not so groggy.
Celery juice, lemon water.
Smoothie. Today TWO bananas - living on the edge! I listened to the Medical Medium's module on his Healing Path class yesterday, and he encourages more fruit! So I am trying to do it. Still coming off of he thought that more fruit isn't the best idea...but trying to embrace it, because man alive, it's so delicious! Who doesn't want more fruit?
He also says two full bunches of leafy greens per day is optimal. So I'm keeping that in mind and working toward that, too. More kale in my smoothie this morning. I'm already doing at least one with the two salads and the smoothie - I can definitely get more in my smoothie - there was a time when I'd do a full bunch of kale in every 32 oz smoothie, so I know I can get there.
I was getting a little tired after my celery juice and lemon water and then I realized I hadn't made my smoothie. I'm drinking it now and already am feeling better. Yay fructose!
Feet are still a little swollen, but it's also still crazy hot outside. I still have energy and clarity and feel human, so I'm freaking happy about that. My husband suggested my feet could be swollen because I've been up and about a lot more. Maybe! I think also though this heat! Despite having a/c, the body knows....
I'm late having dinner today. I mean lunch. Okay, I guess really I skipped my lunch salad and am having dinner on time. It must be the heat - less motivation to eat. But my husband went to the farmer's market today and got some fresh dill and basil and spring greens and more fruits and veggies of all kinds. So my salad right now is full of the leafies. Noms!
Enjoyed some time outside with my family - I definitely don't seem to be as bothered by the heat as I usually would be. Dare I say used to be?
I'm definitely not as active today - I think this heat is making me sleepy. But it's like regular sleepy, not fatigued and exhausted. Maybe it's also that I didn't have that second salad? Perhaps that's also important to keeping the body fueled and functioning optimally.
I feel like I'm getting tired to the level of being ready for sleep a lot earlier - which is interesting, because my son doesn't seem to share my need, so it's tricky figuring out how we can both get our needs met in this case.
Snacks were cherries, dates, and "Frozen pudding", which is a frozen banana and an avocado blended together in the food processor. Delicious and VERY filling - the avocados we're getting right now are BEAUTIFUL and HUGE!
Time to talk my son into sleep. (At 11:15 pm. Can I do it?)
